A graduate of Wesleyan University, Steve has dedicated his professional career to building and fostering positive relationships in the comic book and entertainment industry. From his experience as a staff writer at Wizard Magazine and key role as an editor at the acclaimed CBR.com, to his knowledge of public relations and digital marketing in the modern era from his time at Dark Horse Comics and Stela: Comics For Your Phone, Steve has always put quality and creativity first in all his professional endeavors.

In addition to his passion for publishing and entertainment, he also enjoys hot beverages, strategic board games, and composing at his home in Portland, Oregon.

PR EXPERIENCE

 

As Publicity Coordinator at Dark Horse Comics, and PR Manager at Stela Unlimited, Steve has experience running social media campaigns, crafting press releases, contacting press, and forging lasting relationships with clients. Whether through email, on the phone, or in-person, Steve has a track record of promoting both his clients and the project itself to help build business and retain an audience for other creative endeavors.

 

JOURNALISM EXPERIENCE

 

Steve served as a Staff Writer for Wizard Magazine, and as an editor for the award-winning CBR.com. As an editor, he wrote features and conducted interviews based on current or upcoming news in the comic book world, fostered new relationships with creative talent, met required deadlines and facilitated and fostered relationships with editors and public relations representatives for major publishers of comics.
